Mater Private Network, a leader in Irish private healthcare, is seeking a qualified Cardiology registrar to join their team for July 2026.

Duties

• Assist & learn under consultants, managing patient care.
• Admit patients, attend ward rounds, & manage patient transitions.
• Attend sessions that align with personal education and training objectives such as in the cardiac catheter laboratory or in cardiac imaging.
• Regularly review patients, document findings, & communicate concerns.
• Handle patient discharges, adverse events, & contribute to quality initiatives.
• Educate colleagues, act professionally, & uphold the hospital's reputation.
• Perform additional duties to support the Cardiology team.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
• Current relevant registration with the Irish Medical Council.
• Demonstrable experience at Registrar level in an acute hospital setting.
• Has worked in an Irish Healthcare setting.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and clinical effectiveness.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high degree of flexibility to meet the demands of an effective and efficient service.
