Job PurposeExternally based B2B sales role with responsibility to own and develop Capital Sales within Life Sciences for the Ireland territory. This role will be responsible for developing and growing our market share within Biopharmaceutical / Pharmaceutical Production, Biomedical Research, Medical Devices and Laboratory by actively promoting our capital WIS products, Washers, Isolators, Sterilizers.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Build strategic relationships while engaging tactically within divisional or departmental groups to develop and successfully close capital equipment, servicing and spares business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain Global KeyAccounts within the territory.
- Seek out and develop new customers / new business opportunities within the territory - Business Development.
- Develop and maintain existing accounts, seek out end of life equipment in order to generate new enquiries.
- Seek out and build business relationships with KOLs in our industry.
- Own the development of opportunities through to receipt of Purchase Order and ensure detailed and thorough transition to Life Science Projects or Service teams.
- Coordinate and prepare meetings and presentations for both external customers and internal business partners, including presentations to Senior Leaders.
- Ensure CRM is up to date to ensure accuracy of sales pipeline and alignment to sales KPI's.
- Meet and consistently exceed all sales targets set by the business.
- Co-ordinate within internal departments to maintain customer satisfaction levels.
- Work closely with customers and external partners to offer insightful and educational learning sessions to stay ahead of the curve on new opportunities within the segment.
- Feed back to the business on market trends to enable future business strategy development.
- Work with and maintain strong relationships within Service and Projects to deliver a world class, end-to-end approach.
- Attend and organize, in partnership with MARCOM business partners, regional and international trade shows related to the industry.
- Develop territory marketing strategies in order that we enhance our market presence.
- Be an ambassador for the Getinge brand.
- Develop innovative GTM strategies for our Capital products, creating long term partnerships with some of the worlds most recognized brands.
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Knowledge/Skills/ExperienceEach organization shall have sufficient personnel with the necessary education, background, training, and experience to assure that all activities required by this part are correctly performed and shall establish procedures for identifying training needs and ensure that all personnel are trained to adequately perform their assigned responsibilities. Training shall be documented.
Must Have- Successful at selling capital products with a proven and demonstrable track record of consistently selling and closing new business.
- A flare for business development.
- A successful track record of maintaining and developing existing customer accounts.
- Ability to construct and deliver best in class formal presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- A strong understanding of the sales process, competent in managing multi-level, complex sales opportunities.
- Ability to technically convey knowledge of products and solutions.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills (English).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.
- Valid driving license, willing and able to travel significantly throughout your defined territory and further afield.
- Detailed knowledge of Life Science sterilization processing and production, including GMP.
- Detailed knowledge of Life Science GMP washing systems, applications, and regulations.
- Detailed knowledge of Isolators for aseptic and sterility testing applications.
- Knowledge of Life Science regulatory environment.
- Educational background in the field of engineering in GMP.
- Self-driven and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
- Team player.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, articulate and proactive.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability to develop relationships at all levels within a global organisation.
