Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client to support the appointment of an Capital Programme Manager on an interim basis for an initial 6-month contract, with a likely extension.
This role will lead the delivery of a strategic programme focused on driving economic growth, inward investment, and regeneration. The programme is at a pivotal implementation stage, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in coordinating interlinked initiatives to boost employment, business support, and community resilience.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Lead and coordinate delivery of multiple economic development projects at varying stages
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including LEPs, businesses, education providers, and community organisations
Ensure alignment of programme delivery with government funding criteria and local growth strategies
Track and evaluate economic outcomes, including job creation, business growth, and skills development
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Proven experience delivering economic development or regeneration programmes within a public sector context
Strong knowledge of funding streams (e.g. UKSPF, Levelling Up, Towns Fund) and economic policy
Excellent stakeholder management skills across public, private, and voluntary sectors
Understanding of local government governance and strategic economic planning
