Job Description
Capability Engineer - Process and Data Architecture Role Title: Capability Engineer - Process and Data Architecture
We anticipate paying a salary of between £48,000 - £62,500 DOE
We are Rolls-Royce SMR and we're doing something that's never been done before. We're revolutionising an industry. That's a once-in-a-career opportunity for those excited by such a challenge. This is more than just a job; this is a legacy.
We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Capability Engineer - Process and Data Architecture, to be involved in industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
The Capability Engineer - Process and Data Architecture will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the engineering enterprise model, data structures, and content governance for the Engineering IMS (Integrated Management System) platform. This role supports the development and maintenance of a coherent, integrated view of engineering processes, data flows, and toolsets, enabling digital transformation and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including digital, data, and tools and facilities teams, to ensure engineering data is structured and accessible. While the team owns the architecture and modelling of engineering data, it does not own the data itself. The engineer will be responsible for driving engagement across the business to ensure data owners contribute effectively to the enterprise model and associated standards.
This role is ideal for a pro-active, systems thinker with a passion for digital engineering, data architecture, and continuous improvement. It offers the opportunity to influence the future of engineering capability within a high-profile, regulated environment.
