CAI MDM Integration Business Analyst - 6 months+ - NL

For a leading organisation, we are looking for an experienced CAI MDM Integration Business Analyst who will be responsible for gathering integration requirements, defining API specifications, shaping MDM workflows, and supporting the delivery of integrations across Informatica MDM/Customer 360 and Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI).

Are you a consultant who easily Switches between business analysis, integration design, master data processes, and collaboration with technical teams - and do you get energy from structuring and improving enterprise customer master data? Then this is an exciting interim assignment within a highly data-driven environment.

What you will do

. Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into clear integration and MDM specifications
. Define API-led integrations, including REST/SOAP interfaces, orchestrations, and event-driven flows
. Document data mappings, transformation rules, and validation logic for Customer 360 integrations
. Collaborate closely with CAI developers, MDM architects, and enterprise application teams
. Analyse source and target systems to determine integration logic and data quality considerations
. Support SIT/UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating API responses, and reviewing end-to-end flows
. Prepare and lead workshops with business stakeholders, data stewards, and product teams
. Ensure alignment with MDM governance, data standards, and integration best practices

Knock-out criteria (mandatory)

Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in MDM, data integration, or API-driven projects
. Strong understanding of Informatica MDM/Customer 360 concepts (match/merge, trust, hierarchies)
. Hands-on experience defining integration and API requirements (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
. Experience working with Informatica CAI or similar integration/Middleware platforms
. Proven ability to write functional designs, mapping documents, and API specifications
. Excellent communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders
. Willing to work onsite in the Netherlands

What we are also looking for

. Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data challenges into clear integration specifications
. Experience working with CRM, ERP, onboarding, or digital platforms
. Proactive, organised, and quality-focused working approach
. Experience in data governance, data quality, or master data programs
. Knowledge of IICS components (CDI, API Manager) is an advantage
. Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting

Assignment details

. Start: As soon as possible
. Duration: 6 months, with option to extend
. Hours: 40 hours per week
. Location: Netherlands (onsite)
. Contract type: Freelance
. Rate: Depending on experience
