Cafe Chef

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef with hospitality experience to join one of our lively café kitchens. Your daily operations will include food preparation, storage, and delivering delicious food that keeps our customers satisfied and coming back for more.

In this role you will become a café menu expert, share your knowledge with the team, and inspire them to deliver outstanding food quality and speed of service. You will also help create an inclusive place where people feel respected, safe and valued, contributing to their own growth as a leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage storage and preparation in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Deliver timely, tasty food to customers while maintaining high standards and food presentation.
• Identify new and better ways of working to continuously improve services for customers and colleagues.
• Ensure health and safety and food safety requirements are met.
• Understand the key drivers of our service plan and deliver to the required standard.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality.
• Experience remaining productive in a high pressure environment.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Desire to create an inclusive work environment where colleagues feel respected, safe and valued.
• Good planning and organisation skills.
• Confidence in using initiative to identify opportunities to improve ways of working or adapt to different situations.
• Excellent communication skills to motivate and support a growing team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
