The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs for various projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards. This position presents a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a keen attention to detail to play a vital role in the company's growth and success. The CAD Technician / Draughtsperson will work closely with project managers, engineers and clients to produce precise and timely drawings that facilitate informed decision-making.

Reporting to: Design Manager

Location: Duleek with Hybrid (3-4 days in office min)

  • Produce drawings using In house Software.
  • Amend drawings in accordance with specified instructions & issue revisions.
  • Liaise with Factory, Clients, Designers via telephone/email to obtain design details, comments /approval of working drawings.
  • Management of CAD files, drawing registers and drawing issue sheets.
  • Monitor workload and prioritise jobs.
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as reasonably directed by Director.

Suitable candidates should have:

  • Timber Frame / Modular experience is essential
  • Degree qualified in Construction / Engineering is preferred.
  • Experience in 2D AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Be able to communicate well.
  • Have excellent attention to detail, technical knowledge and practices along with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Have clear understanding of current regulations.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
