Position: Cable Installation Consultant

Location: Netherlands (Offshore & Onshore Work)

Sector: Offshore Wind

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Strong Possibility of Extension)

We are currently supporting a leading subsea cable solutions provider in the Netherlands on a major offshore wind project. They are seeking an experienced Cable Installation Consultant to join their team on an initial 12-month freelance contract, with a strong possibility of extension. This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of critical cable installation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee both onshore and offshore cable installation activities.
• Prepare method statements and installation procedures, ensuring all operations align with safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during offshore campaigns, addressing any installation challenges.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in subsea cable installation within the offshore wind or marine sector.
• Solid technical knowledge of either HVDC, export, or inter-array cable systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to manage external interfaces.
• Degree qualified in engineering or a related field.
• Fluency in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
