Contract:12-month contract
Hours:41.25 hours per week (35 hours net of breaks)
Salary:€53,071 per annum
Working arrangement:Blended working - 3 days in office, 2 days working from home

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leadingpublic sector bodyas a Business Decarbonisation Supports Executive within its Energy Efficient Design (EXEED) Programme.

The successful candidate will provide project management, technical and operational support across the EXEED grant scheme, supporting businesses to implement energy efficiency and decarbonisation measures. This is a varied role involving stakeholder engagement, grant management, technical review, programme development and customer support.

The role will be based inDublin, Dundalk, Cork or Sligo, with blended working available and some ad hoc nationwide travel required.

  • Provide project management, technical and operational support to the Programme Manager and wider department.
  • Support the end-to-end administration and management of grant schemes, including applications, payments, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Carry out technical reviews of commercial and industrial grant applications from an energy efficiency and decarbonisation perspective.
  • Engage with applicants, suppliers, outsourced partners and internal stakeholders to support effective programme delivery.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of programme processes and services.
  • Develop and deliver educational and training supports, tools and resources.
  • Support the development of new business decarbonisation initiatives and customer support services.
  • Develop programme communications including web content, webinars, case studies and guidance materials.
  • Represent the organisation at meetings, events and presentations where required.
  • Contribute to programme strategy, policy development and work planning at national and EU level.
  • Analyse programme performance data and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Degree qualification at NFQ Level 8 or higher in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Science, Business or Social Science.
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant work experience in energy or business-related roles.
  • Strong project management and business process development experience.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations, with the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Well-developed IT skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience working in sustainable energy and/or with the SME or industry sector.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the challenges facing Irish businesses.
  • Experience delivering training or educational supports to varied audiences.
  • Experience analysing, reporting and communicating insights from data.
  • Experience in building energy retrofit, industrial energy efficiency or business sustainability.
  • Experience delivering high-volume grant programmes or client-facing services.
  • Knowledge of energy, environmental or quality management systems.
  • Knowledge of, or proficiency in, the Irish language.
