Business Support Partner
Location: Telford (Hybrid - 3 days in the office)
Salary: £23.51 - £24.92 per hour
Full Time around 3 months Temp

As a Business Support Partner, you'll act as a trusted partner to the Director and senior leadership team, helping to coordinate, monitor, and deliver key strategic and operational activities. You'll play a crucial role in governance, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement, ensuring priorities are delivered effectively and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure strategic priorities are delivered efficiently.

  • Monitor business activities, track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues where required.

  • Manage governance processes, including policy reviews, risk registers, and governance meetings.

  • Prepare agendas, action trackers, reports, and board/committee documentation.

  • Coordinate audit schedules and monitor follow-up actions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and operational processes.

  • Support business continuity planning and compliance activities.

  • Track key operational metrics and ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in a business support, business partnering, or operational support role.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate documentation and reports.

  • Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems such as SharePoint.

Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance processes.
