Business Support Officer - Job Description

Directly responsible to: Business Support Team Leader

Location: Office of the Police and Crime Commissioners in West Midlands

Closing Date: 12 noon Friday 1st May 2026, interviews to take place in person at Lloyd House on Tuesday 26th May 2026.

2 x Permanent Positions and 1 x 12 month Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer with an interest in the world of policing and crime to add capacity to our busy Business Support Team. If you have an enthusiastic attitude, excellent written skills, great customer service skills and can deliver exceptional dedicated support, you could be a perfect addition to our team.

You will be responsible for a variety of activities including casework and correspondence, corporate governance activities, organisation and facilitation of meetings, event organising, diary management, finance, recruitment and a full reception service. In return you will be part of a small high performing organisation with development opportunities to suit your role.
