Job Description

We are looking for Business Support Officers to join our experienced and supportive Business Support Team in Contracts and Commissioning. We are advertising two full-time permanent posts. You will work in a hybrid way, with a minimum of 2 days in the office at Times Square, Warrington. You will be part of a team of five Business Support Officers alongside a Senior Business Support Officer, all report to the Business Support Team Manager.

The role

We invest over £130m each year in care and support services for adults across Warrington. The successful post holder will play a key role in supporting the Contracting and Commissioning Team, dedicated to commissioning, procuring, contracting and monitoring a range of services that improve the outcomes for children and adults within Warrington.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Business Support Officer, you will be expected to provide quality support, work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team, act on your own initiative, prioritise tasks and duties, work calmly under pressure, problem solve and determine appropriate courses of action.

  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Experience of working in an administrative capacity.
  • Have the ability to use a range of IT solutions.
  • Have a flexible approach to work combined with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have the ability to prioritise workloads and work against tight deadlines.
