The Role:
We have a full time vacancy for a Business Support Assistant on the Set for Success program whose core focus will be to support the work of our Set for Success Athlete Mentor and teacher sessions in the 6 schools in the area.
Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm
Successful applicants will work as part of a team, supporting the Set for Success program across the county as well as engaging in other projects delivered by the Employment and Enterprise team through the provision of high quality business support.
Schedule:
3 days a week will be spent supporting the Set for Success program.
SFS Interns will support SFS Athlete Mentor and teacher sessions in the 6 schools. They will attend a minimum of 75 % of school visits, provide additional support in the sessions, assist lead teachers with administrative tasks such as research, reporting, Leadership Skills Foundation awards, new supplier forms, travel and accommodation support, and ensure that Athlete Mentor visits are booked, the right space and resources are available.
Attending and supporting empowerment events, including the Wimbledon Inspiration Event where required.
2 days a week will be spent with the organisation, focusing on additional areas of the Employment and Enterprise Team. Projects may vary but Set for Success work must remain a priority. The intern will help improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people in schools, in line with the Youth Sport Trust's strategy.
The role may involve remote working from home or other locations as appropriate.

What you'll need to succeedExperience of working in an office environment would be an advantage; comprehensive training will be provided and opportunities for career development are available.
You will have good interpersonal and communication skills, liaising appropriately with staff, service users and agencies.
A professional approach and flexibility are essential, as is the ability to enjoy the challenge of working within a busy team, producing accurate, high quality outputs on deadlines.
