SummaryAt Lubrizol, we are seeking an HR Business Partner to provide counsel and advice to ensure the assigned leaders have a competitive talent base to achieve goals and objectives. The role is ideal for a candidate who has working knowledge of how people and culture create advantage for the company and are comfortable leading change that accelerates business results. This role will be based on our plant in Belford Roxo and supports the Rio de Janeiro office, following a hybrid working model 4 x 1.
Key Responsibilities- Build and sustain trusted advisor/business partner relationships with assigned leadership team
- Understand the business/functions, competitive landscape, and key strategies to shape the talent and HR requirements for the business
- Provide input and tools to support talent-related discussions, workforce and succession planning
- Ensure effective performance management process, through the good use of performance evaluation tools, seeking transparency and increased efficiency and productivity
- Develop effective working relationships, trust and credibility with Global HR Center of Expertise (CoE) seeking best alternatives to meet business needs regarding talent attraction, retention, development and management
- Identify need for compensation review of existing and future job/role, evaluate requirements, document responsibilities and competencies
- Support the implementation of corporate HR policies, processes and programs
- Coach managers to remain compliant with HR guidelines and laws related to employees and to identify / mitigate employee relations issues
- Drive innovation in HR processes, including continued automation of transactional work and leveraging shared services across the business
- Demonstrate courage to proactively recognize and articulate when ideas and/or strategies may not align with company values expectations and business vision, offering alternative perspectives
- Identify and facilitate initiatives to foster an inclusive and diverse culture
- Support union relations and negotiation
- Assist with internal and external audits
- 5 or more years of relevant HR experience
- Experience with manufacturing environment and labor relations
- Experience coaching and leading experienced business professionals
- Demonstrated capability to use data to make business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or related field
- Experience working in a medium to large sized company and/or a global organization
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment
- Demonstrate expert knowledge, communication and application of all HR policies, practices, and processes
- Consistently identify opportunities for HR process improvement and implements with appropriate approvals and input
