ManpowerGroup Ireland have an exciting new opportunity with our client SAP! This is a 6-month contract role employed with ManpowerGroup Ireland. This position is a Hybrid role based in Galway.
The Operations Support Specialist provides high-quality operational support to business leaders through ad-hoc requests, recurring reporting, meeting preparation, and day-to-day coordination. This role is designed as an entry point into a future Operations Business Partner career path, with strong exposure to leadership routines, cross-functional collaboration, and core business operations responsibilities.
The role sits within the broader operations team and helps ensure leaders have reliable support, timely information, and well-run business processes. The focus is on execution, responsiveness, organization, and service orientation; analytics is helpful but not a core requirement.
Key responsibilities Leadership support- Provide ad-hoc operational support to business leaders, including follow-up on requests, coordination of inputs, and preparation of materials for reviews and meetings.
- Support calendar-driven business activities by helping to organize agendas, track actions, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Prepare draft communications, meeting notes, and action logs to help leaders and teams stay aligned.
- Produce and maintain regular recurring reports using established templates, dashboards, and source files.
- Consolidate inputs from different stakeholders and ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and delivered on time.
- Highlight data gaps, inconsistencies, or overdue inputs and follow up with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Support the smooth execution of core business routines such as forecast cycles, quarterly reviews, leadership meetings, and other operational cadences.
- Maintain trackers, templates, and documentation that improve consistency and reduce administrative burden for leaders.
- Help coordinate small operational improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to simplify processes and ways of working.
- Work closely with business leaders, operations colleagues, and cross-functional teams to gather information and keep activities moving.
- Build trusted working relationships through reliability, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Escalate risks, blockers, or conflicting priorities early and clearly.
- 1-5 years of experience in operations, business support, team coordination, project coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience supporting recurring reporting, team processes, leadership meetings, or other structured business routines.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence preparing slides, summaries, and follow-up notes.
- Strong attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset.
- Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
- Comfort working with reports and operational data; deeper analytics capability is a nice to have only.
- Ability to work independently on defined tasks while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
