On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for a Business Modeller (Inside IR35) for a 6 month contract based predominantly remote with attendance to Swindon office as and when required.

This role is critical to provide a clear, accurate view of how systems, data, and processes interact across the enterprise. This information will enable decision-making that will reduce duplication, identify risks and enable dependency management. Without it, the organisation risks siloed operations, misaligned technology investments and increased technical debt.
As a Business Modeller, your main responsibilities will be:
. Gather data and create visualisations of our enterprise factory blueprint.
. Deliverables include system maps, application inventories, data flow diagrams, and infrastructure schematics.
. Must ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. Experience with EA tools and frameworks preferred.
Essential:
. Knowledge of EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman)
. Data Collection & Analysis
. Visualization Tools (PowerPoint, Visio, Lucidchart or Power BI)
. System thinking
. Communication skills into relevant business- insights.
. Stakeholder management
. Documentation and modelling
. Understanding impact of changes on existing architecture
