Your new role
This is a pivotal position at the heart of the organisation, supporting senior leadership while ensuring the smooth running of business operations.
Combining high-level Executive Assistant support with wider business management responsibilities, you will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders - driving efficiency, supporting governance and enabling effective decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive EA support, including complex diary and inbox management
- Preparing and coordinating meetings, agendas, reports and briefings
- Acting as a central point of contact for senior stakeholders
- Supporting governance processes, including leadership meetings and action tracking
- Overseeing business support activities to ensure efficient service delivery
- Managing and improving administrative processes and systems
- Supporting strategic projects, tracking progress and coordinating outputs
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior PA or Business Support Manager
- Experience supporting senior leaders at Director level or above
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management ability
- High levels of discretion and professionalism
- Advanced IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience within a public sector or complex organisational environment
- Exposure to governance or leadership support functions
- Experience supporting projects or business operations
- A varied and high-profile role with real impact
