We are currently working with a well-established Further Education College in Crawley that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Lecturer to join its Business department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire learners and deliver high-quality teaching across Business programmes within a supportive and forward-thinking college environment. Whether you are an experienced FE lecturer or a qualified teacher looking to transition into Further Education, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to learners while working within a collaborative and student-focused department.
About the Role- Deliver engaging and inspiring teaching across Business programmes, including BTEC and other vocational qualifications where applicable
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
- Assess learner progress, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving their qualifications
- Create an inclusive, positive, and motivating learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement, and departmental development
- A degree or recognised qualification in Business or a related subject
- Experience teaching Business, ideally within a Further Education setting
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A passion for supporting learners to achieve their academic and career goals
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
- Experience delivering BTEC Business or other vocational Business qualifications
- Experience teaching within a Further Education College
- Knowledge of current Business curricula and assessment requirements
