Job Description

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our Corporate Training business unit and support the growth of our B2B commercial activities.

This role is designed for someone at the beginning of their career who wants real, hands-on exposure to B2B sales - from the very first outreach to closing their own deals.

You will be part of a growing sales team that also includes Account Executives and a Project Manager, each focused on different stages and scales of the commercial process.

You will work closely with experienced team members, receive ongoing mentoring, and progressively take on more responsibility - including full ownership of smaller B2B deals from first contact to close.

  • What You'll Do


    • Prospect and identify new B2B opportunities through outbound outreach (email, cold calls, LinkedIn - automated through AI and our internal sales tools).
    • Qualify leads and determine which opportunities should move forward in the pipeline.
    • Book and conduct discovery meetings with potential clients.
    • Manage and close smaller B2B deals autonomously - from first contact to signed proposal.
    • Hand off larger or more complex opportunities to the Account Executives with full context and deal history.
    • Support proposal preparation on more complex deals when needed.
    • Contribute to internal projects that improve our sales process, tools, and messaging.
    • Take part and contribute to the overall growth of our product and business!

  • ️ What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like


    • Start the day reviewing leads, follow-ups, and pipeline priorities in HubSpot.
    • Reach out to new companies and follow up on ongoing conversations.
    • Qualify leads and book or conduct your own meetings.
    • Move your own deals forward - preparing proposals, handling objections, closing.
    • Sync with the Account Executives to align on pipeline and handovers.
    • Work on small internal projects to sharpen our outreach, tools, or positioning.

  • About you


    • Bachelor's degree or higher - any field is welcome, but a background in Management, Marketing, Communication, or a related area is a plus.
    • No prior sales experience required - but if you've had any previous work client-facing exposure (customer support, retail, events, B2C, university clubs), that's relevant and valued.
    • Genuinely curious about people and businesses - you like understanding how companies work and what they need.
    • Organised, proactive, and comfortable reaching out to people you've never met.
    • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
    • Based in Lisbon.
