Job Description

Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Business Development Representative.

Field sales role with some possibility to work from home on admin days. Covering all of Ireland

Salary DOE

  • Take initiative in generating new business opportunities, building a network through a variety of means such as: phone calls, email, social media and event attendance
  • Develop a short, medium- and long term pipeline of realistic and credible prospects and develop a business development plan for conquest
  • Keep an up to date status on the pipeline and be in a position to report at all times
  • Building a rapport with the prospective client
  • Understanding their business requirements
  • Closing deal and completing contracts
  • Consider future customer follow e.g. if unsuccessful this time, assess customer satisfaction, possible introduction to other customers
  • Ability to assess the creditworthiness of opportunities and submit complete credit proposals
  • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales and revenue opportunities are captured and explored
  • Adhere to agreed sales procedures, including maintaining our CRM system and keeping all sales administration accurate and up to date
  • Work effectively with other departments when handing over new clients, ensuring they are fully briefed with all relevant information
  • Keep abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, product knowledge and market intelligence, to support adding value to prospects and customers

  • Passion for sales, targeted orientated with a strong ability to generate your own pipeline
  • Empathic and attentive to prospects needs
  • Self motivated, energetic and resilient
  • Proven ability to deliver under-pressure to deadlines and monthly targets
  • Organised, structured and have persistent drive to achieve goals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong IT literacy
  • Experience in proposal / tender writing
  • Full Clean Driving licence
