Job Description
The Role Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for a permanent, full time Business Development Manager in Co. Kildare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote and champion the company's products, services, and value propositions to both existing and prospective customers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of customer requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their operational and commercial objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders in line with the customer engagement strategy.
  • Act as a recognised industry specialist and subject matter expert within designated market sectors.
  • Drive profitable solutions-based sales and maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Develop innovative commercial models and demonstrate measurable value and return on investment for customers.
  • Focus on securing recurring revenue streams and long-term customer partnerships.
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop opportunities within new and emerging market sectors.
  • Prepare estimates, quotations, and tender submissions as required.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking functions.
  • Undertake regular international travel to support business development activities.
  • Drive customer retention and new business acquisition across assigned markets and sectors.
  • Contribute technical, commercial, and solution-based content to tender responses and proposals.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline while achieving agreed sales and business development targets.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support ongoing proposition and service development.
  • Assist with forecasting market trends, customer demand, and future business opportunities.
The Person Qualifications
  • Third-level qualification in Business, Engineering, Sales, or a related discipline is desirable, although relevant industry experience will also be considered.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a multinational sales environment, particularly in solution-based selling.
  • Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong technical understanding of noise control technologies and associated services.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Industry experience within Commercial Vehicles, Manufacturing, HVAC, Data Centres, or related sectors.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in a Sales or Business Development position.
  • Proven ability to develop business opportunities within multinational organisations, including commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a results-driven approach.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
