RS Safety Solutions is the PPE division of the RS Group, supplying PPE, hygiene and workwear products to the Food Manufacturing sector across the UK and Ireland.

What you will be doing

• Liaise with senior contacts to secure new business wins.
• Manage and identify a portfolio of new business targets.
• Accountable for delivering against a pre agreed sales budget.
• Sell added value within a portfolio and deliver increases where required.
• Research target sectors and product ranges to add new opportunities to the pipeline.
• Work seamlessly with colleagues and suppliers to support the role.
• Identify potential targets, develop product ranges, expand into other associated sectors, perform cold calling and network with suppliers.

What you need to be successful

• Proven track record in delivering significant new business wins over a sustained period, ideally in a similar environment.
• Experience of delivering on an ambitious target and demonstration of pipeline execution.
• Understanding and use of negotiation skills.
• Manage onboarding of new wins, liaising with relevant partners to ensure smooth transition.
• Manage a seamless transition when handing over contracted customers to an Account Manager.
