An exciting opportunity has arisen within Computacenter to join our Sector Division as a 'Business Development Manager'. The successful applicant will join our CORE Sector team, covering accounts within the professional services industry.

What you'll do

  • Manage customer liaison to transact complex services and solutions to maximize profit.
  • Responsible for sales documentation and methodology to enable the sales process and information flow.
  • Engage with appropriate resources and management to ensure solutions meet customer needs.
  • Close standard deals with some complexity to maximize profitability.
  • Identify customer queries and resolve them to enhance satisfaction.
  • Take accountability for all operational transactions and ownership of customer accounts.
  • Proactively build customer contacts and rapport across multiple customers, levels, and opportunities.
  • Identify a broad range of opportunities and develop sales campaigns.

What you'll need

  • A strong track record in new business generation.
  • Understanding of B2B and the UK retail market (highly advantageous).
  • Ability to build effective and constructive relationships with multiple customers and opportunities.
  • Ability to manage customer expectations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Computacenter's solutions offerings and basic understanding of services.
  • Commercial, financial, and legal knowledge.
  • Negotiation and influencing skills across customer organizations.
  • Ability to resolve significant customer issues while advancing the business.
