Job Description:
We're seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team, specialising in digital marketing and software solutions for the Built Environment sector. You'll play a key role in driving revenue, developing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities across a range of businesses in construction, groundworks, plant hire, and beyond.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, a strong understanding of digital solutions, and the confidence to build rapport and close deals.
Responsibilities:
- Proven sales experience, ideally in digital marketing, software, or tech services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to manage your own workload
- Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Ability to articulate the value of digital marketing and technology solutions clearly
- Experience or knowledge of the Built Environment sector is a strong advantage
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within digital marketing, software solutions, or technology services
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Solid understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing
- Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to manage pipelines and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and confidently
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, web design) is highly desirable
- Experience working with clients in the Built Environment sector (e.g., construction, plant hire, groundworks) is a strong advantage
- A relevant degree (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications) is preferred but not essential with the right experience
