Job Description

As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, inbound leads, networking, and events.
  • Understand client needs and propose software solutions that align with their goals.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to scope out project requirements and time lines.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.
  • Maintain CRM records and regularly update pipeline status.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospective and current clients.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in the tech or software development sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development services, SaaS, or IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).


Nice to Have
  • Existing network in tech/start-up or enterprise space.
  • Experience selling to CTOs, product managers, or technical decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or product development life-cycles.
