Job Description
Position: Business Development Lead - Full time, Hybrid - Derby
The Business Development Lead supports the Submarines and Civil Nuclear Energy programmes, playing a pivotal role in pursuing and winning new business, developing best practice approaches, and ensuring collaboration across Strategy, Customer, Government Relations, Technical, and Commercial teams.
Responsibilities- Coordinate activities across the business development lifecycle, supporting campaigns from early solution development through to bid and client engagement.
- Identify opportunities, develop capture plans and contribute to bid development.
- Coordinate multi disciplinary teams to design strategic campaigns and pursue opportunities across Defence and Civil Nuclear sectors.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment, process compliance and effective delivery of business development initiatives.
- Create compelling internal and external presentations, proposals and materials that communicate Rolls Royce's value propositions.
- Support lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives to embed best practices across the business development function.

- Ability to coordinate and drive tasks across multi disciplinary teams with strong communication and information sharing.
- Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills with the ability to interpret data and insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail, time management and organisational skills, capable of supporting multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Must hold Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats; Rolls Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if not already in place.
- Candidate must be a UK national.
