Business Change and Readiness Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Change and Readiness Manager to support a major Cyber Uplift programme. This role will be responsible for driving awareness, engagement, readiness, and adoption of cyber-related changes across the organisation, ensuring stakeholders understand what is changing, why it matters, and how it impacts them.

Location: UB7 0GB (Hybrid, 1-2 days on-site per week)
Contract: 3 Months
Day Rate: Competitive daily rate (inside IR35)

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive change professional who can influence stakeholders at all levels, develop effective communication strategies, and ensure successful adoption of programme outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the programme-level change management approach, ensuring consistency across initiatives.
• Assess and manage organisational change impacts across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Develop and deliver communication, engagement, and awareness campaigns.
• Plan and coordinate training and readiness activities ahead of project releases.
• Support senior leaders with change messaging and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor adoption, engagement, and feedback post-implementation.
• Ensure alignment with established change management frameworks and governance.
• Deliver the right level of communication, avoiding both under and over-communication.
• Act as the voice of the programme across the wider organisation.
• Scale change activities appropriately based on project complexity and impact.
• Manage and prioritise change activities across multiple work streams.
• Ensure consistent messaging across projects and stakeholder groups.
• Partner with delivery teams to shape and implement effective change strategies.
• Capture user feedback and measure change effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering organisational change initiatives within large-scale programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience developing communication, engagement, and training plans.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience working on cyber, technology, digital transformation, or business change programmes is highly desirable.
