A high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Hertsmere is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Business & Economics Teacher to join their successful department. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to inspire students and contribute to strong academic outcomes across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The Role

• Teaching Business Studies and Economics across KS4 and KS5
• Planning and delivering engaging, challenging and well-structured lessons
• Preparing students for GCSE and A Level examinations
• Assessing, monitoring and tracking student progress
• Encouraging students to develop an understanding of real-world business and economic concepts
• Contributing to the wider life of the department and school community

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for their specialism
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities
• Committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning
