Business Analyst, Pharmacy

About the role:

In this position, you will automate dashboards, monitor key success metrics, manage WBR reports, identify problem areas and business challenges, and collaborate on solutions to optimize the e-pharmacy business.

The ideal candidate is passionate about deriving actionable insights from data, eager to innovate, and capable of becoming a subject matter expert in Amazon's e-pharmacy performance.

Experience with automation, data analysis, trend identification, and presenting findings clearly using data from various sources is essential. You should enjoy problem-solving, root cause analysis, and be proficient in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools like Quicksight.

Key responsibilities:

1. Perform data analysis by writing ETL queries in SQL/Datanet platforms
2. Utilize MS Excel proficiently
3. Support decision-making by aggregating data from multiple sources into actionable insights
4. Analyze business problems, identify root causes, and explore future opportunities
5. Design and enhance metrics to support business processes and sustainability
6. Communicate complex insights clearly to stakeholders and leadership
7. Have basic knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Glue, Athena, etc.

Basic qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 1+ years of experience in data analytics or automation
• Experience in capacity planning, operations, or business analysis
• Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL
• Proficiency in SQL and Excel at an intermediate or advanced level

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, table joins, and analytical functions
