As Business Analyst, you will play an essential role in working on solutions related to the selling of insurance, solutions automating and optimizing the claims process, as well more marketing related apps such as a health and wellness loyalty mobile application.
Roles & Responsibilities
This job has a broad remit encompassing - but not limited to - the work areas below:
- Collect and document stakeholder requirements through interviews, workshops, and review sessions
- Translate business needs and problems in well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria
- Work closely with the product team on refining and assessing the product backlog to align features with strategic goals
- Transfer requirements to the technical team and provide support during solution development and detailed design preparation
- Share and explain the requirements with our near-short and/or offshore development teams
- Engage with stakeholders throughout the software development process, effectively managing expectations and ensuring alignment
- Facilitating workshops to design, clarify and validate requirements with our customers regarding the functionality, configuration and technical deployment and implementation of our web-based software solutions in insurance
- Ensuring through client and internal workshops that our solutions remain coherent, performing and maintainable across different client installations
- Support customers with the integration of new functionalities by answering queries, delivering training sessions, and sharing best practices
- Documentation management to maintain its accuracy, reliability, and clarity
- Taking the lead in analyzing urgent and complex production issues
- Ability to define and solve more technical and integration related challenges
- Maintain a good working relationship with the colleagues in our multi-national team and global stakeholders
- Keep organized on tools such as Jira and Confluence to ensure business continuity
- Receive, process and document feedback from stakeholders and development teams in order to continuously improve our products and methods

- Knowledge on web service integrations (REST)
- Knowledge on applications like Postman and Swagger
- Knowledge on languages like JSON, YAML, XML
- Produces clear, complete and professional forms of communication in writing that meet the needs of the intended audience
- Exceptional interpersonal skill; Initiative, self-confident, strong team player
Nice to have
- Insurance industry experience is preferred, but not required
- Experience with cloud architecture
- Experience with HTML/CSS, SQL, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, Java
Required skills & experience
- 5 years' experience in managing digital/software projects in a product management, business analysis or consultancy
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science or similar quantitative field
