Business Analyst (Inside IR35)

Must have local gov experience Financial Background

• Day Rate: £500 per day
• Location: Greater London (2 days per week on-site)
• Start Date: Immediate
• Contract Duration: 6 months

We are seeking a Business Analyst with a proven track record in local government and/or consultancy to lead and deliver complex change programmes aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adopt a data-driven approach to set programme direction and support others in applying this mindset
• Support change initiatives through data and digital technology, using methodologies like design thinking, process improvement, and systems thinking

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in change management and improvement within local government or consultancy.
• Must have a Financial Background; In essence accountancy background or working on Financial Transformation.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement approaches (e.g., design thinking, process improvement).
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of financial accounting, flow accounting, and cost-to-serve models (desirable).
