Business Analyst - Trading

Business Analyst - Trading vacancy for our Zürich based client in the Banking sector.

Your tasks:

• Analyse and document end-to-end interface requirements between the trading and core banking systems.
• Define data mappings, transformation rules, and message specifications to support automated trade and cash flow processing.
• Collaborate with developers and solution architects to ensure accurate and timely implementation of system interfaces.
• Produce high-quality functional documentation, including business requirement documents, field definitions, and user stories.
• Support the planning and execution of testing (SIT/UAT), including test case preparation and defect triage.
• Participate in project meetings, progress reviews, and technical walkthroughs to ensure alignment with programme objectives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to validate assumptions and manage dependencies impacting interface delivery.

Your experience/knowledge:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on system integration or banking technology projects.
• Strong understanding of trading systems and post-trade workflows, particularly in securities finance, including lending and borrowing, and repo.
• Experience with data mapping, message structuring, and working with APIs or message queues.
• Demonstrable ability to write clear, structured documentation for technical and business audiences.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technology and business domains.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a delivery-focused role.
• Language skills: English
