We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and enhancing client experience through Target Operating Model (TOM) development, process optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in financial services who are experienced in analysing, improving, and redesigning business processes and technology platforms to support client-centric service models.
The BA will work across multiple business functions to lead and enable process improvements, define future-state operating models, and support change initiatives that align people, processes, and technology.
The Role:
TOM & Process Optimisation Focus
Lead the assessment and analysis of a broad range of pre-identified opportunities for process improvement.
Conduct deep dives into priority areas of client experience to identify optimisation opportunities.
Define clear project outcomes and success metrics.
Drive transition activities to support scalable solutions and early realisation of benefits.
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and risk points, and recommend data-driven solutions.
Redesign key operational and client-facing processes to support long-term scalability and efficiency.
Support the development and execution of a Client Service Strategy aimed at enhancing end-to-end journeys for different client segments (eg retail, commercial, private, or wealth clients).
Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
Assess proposed operating model changes, evaluating benefits, risks, and technology implications.
Document current and future-state processes as part of the overall TOM design and implementation.
Perform data analysis and visualisation to support evidence-based decision-making.
Key Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry (Ideally in Wealth Management)
Expertise in Target Operating Model (TOM) development and process optimisation initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex process redesigns across functional areas.
Solid understanding of banking systems and platforms, including Back Office and client-facing technologies.
Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid project environments.
Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent process improvement background.
Experience working in multi-operating model environments.
Familiarity with fintech and digital banking platforms (core banking, CRM, investment portals, etc.).
Strong data analysis and visualisation skills to support transformation insights.
Experience with journey mapping, service design, and client experience documentation.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence across all levels.
Knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and their impact on process design and platform usability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (eg, Miro, Confluence, JIRA).
