Position Summary

Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire, offers an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator.

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Weekdays are Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN

The role holder will be responsible for handling a variety of clerical duties for both the General Manager and across various functions at the Euravia site. They will have a commitment to providing excellent customer service both internally and externally and will be flexible and adaptable in carrying out day to day duties.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Business Administration tasks include but are not limited to:
    • Assisting with the General Manager's reporting through defining, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Assisting with the organisation of and subsequent attendance at social, business, charitable and marketing events, which may be local, national or international.
    • General clerical duties including data entry, answering phones, scanning, copying and filing of documents for the General Manager and across other functions as required.
    • Providing support to the Project Coordinators as required.
    • Communicating with employees, vendors and customers.
    • Working alongside the Senior Leadership Team on site for data collection and reporting.
  • Business Development tasks include but are not limited to:
    • Quotations and proposals.
    • Stock inventory management, organising for engine utilisation or aftermarket sales.
    • Acting as a liaison between external suppliers and internal departments (e.g. sales, operations, finance) to resolve disputes regarding quality, cost or delivery times.
    • Proactively identifying upselling or cross selling opportunities to expand the sale account portfolio.
    • Working on general business development projects that are not within the current capabilities.
  • Quality Compliance / Continuous Improvement tasks including but are not limited to:
    • Tracking and controlling projects that will assist with improving the business.
    • Supporting relevant MOS requirements and actively contributing to any 6S activities on site.
  • Comply with company regulations, statutory requirements and procedures.
  • Adhere to Euravia's procedures and work instructions to achieve excellence in customer support practices and compliance with ISO, CAA, EASA and FAA requirements.
  • Work in a safe manner in compliance with the company health & safety policy and procedures. Report and log health & safety incidents that occur.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by management in support of the business.
Position Requirements Essential Criteria
  • GCSE or equivalent including Maths & English.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
Desirable Criteria
  • Business Administration NVQ or equivalent is desirable.
  • Experience of working within a business administration setting.
