Role and Contract

Business Administrator. Location: Hampstead Gate Day Nursery Bradwell Common, Milton Keynes MK13 8RD.

Contract: Permanent, 37.5 hours/week, 52 weeks/year. Working pattern: Monday-Friday alternating weekly shifts of 08:00-16:30 and 08:30-17:00 (with some flexibility required to suit the needs of the nursery). Salary: £25,389-£30,517.50 per annum (pro-rata), £13.02-£15.65 per hour.

About you

We are looking for a person who:

  • is passionate about delivering exceptional customer care: you have experience of working in a busy front-of-house role, providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors, answering queries by phone, email and face-to-face in a polite, professional manner.
  • is a skilled IT user: your attention to detail and experience of using computer-based systems will ensure you can effectively log enquiries, maintain family records, create accurate invoices and manage queries relating to charges and discounts.
  • is an advocate for safeguarding: you will ensure every child feels safe, valued, and happy and their well-being is promoted.
  • is collaborative: you thrive as part of a team, enjoy building strong and positive relationships with others, are highly organised, able to prioritise effectively, and can confidently support the Nursery Manager with ordering, diary management and administration tasks.
