They carry from stock of a wide range of packaging materials, offering packaging solutions to a wide range of industries including FMCG, eCommerce, Electronics, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, fulfilment & many more.
As Account Manager, you will be tasked with covering the Central Belt & Ayrshire, working with a dedicated internal co-ordinator to develop the existing customer base and grow business. You will be expected to manage a portfolio of existing customers, provide service reviews, and grow usage.
Being able to plan and organise your time effectively will be a big part of the role. We are looking for someone who is outgoing, approachable and skilled in building lasting relationships with key customers. This client is known for providing exceptional service, and this role is no different.
Business Account Manager Key Duties:- Working with a dedicated internal co-ordinator, you will require excellent communication and team working.
- Creating and implementing a business plan for allocated territory to maximise business development activities & deliver excellent standards of customer service & support
- Working to set Sales and Gross Profit forecast
- Maintaining and developing existing key accounts, whilst also identifying prospective companies and working to make them customers.
- Regularly meeting with customers face to face.
- Working with and updating bespoke CRM system to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes.
- Providing a consultative approach with customers, creating effective solutions to meet their needs.
- Developing/maintaining a strong knowledge of all packaging solutions and full product range.
We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced account management/business development professional within the packaging industry. You will be an effective negotiator, with the ability to actively build strong relationships via first class communication and influencing skills. You will enjoy genuinely 'adding value' to customers as your prior experience will already have seen you selling a solution. Developing business with integrity, you will be accustomed to ensuring customers are fully satisfied and will be able to illustrate a recent track-record of success in a similar role.
