Building Surveyor

Position Overview

As a Building Surveyor based in Cornwall, you will join an independent consultancy that delivers professional and project based building surveying services across residential, commercial and public sector portfolios. The role is permanent and offers a salary of £35,000 to £50,000.

Responsibilities

• Conduct condition surveys and defect analysis
• Prepare technical reports and assist in contract administration
• Manage projects and coordinate delivery across the South West
• Provide client facing support and build strong relationships
• Support the team with varying instructions and maintain project quality

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in building surveying
• Experience delivering a range of professional surveying services
• Contract administration experience (highly desirable)
• Excellent communication and client facing skills
• Ability to manage projects and build client relationships
• Working towards, or already achieved, MRICS status is advantageous but not essential
