Building Surveying Building Surveyor

Join our team of over 200 professionals as a Senior Building Surveyor.

This role will be based in either our London or Epping office and offers the opportunity to travel to meet the demands of diverse projects.

You will be capable of working in all areas of Building Surveying, including but not limited to:

• Professional Work
• Defects analysis of existing buildings and associated report writing
• Party Wall matters (desirable)
• Dilapidations
• Building surveys, planning preventative maintenance schedules, commercial and due diligence reports
• PPM surveys

• Contract and Project Work
• Contract administration/employers agent roles
• Specification writing for minor works (new build) and a full scope of maintenance or refurbishment works
• Site supervision
• Monitoring construction works regarding quality and progress, with reporting to clients

Ideally, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Appropriate educational background demonstrating good numeracy and literacy skills
• Degree qualified (ideally RICS accredited)
• Good IT literacy
• Effective and efficient communication skills with design teams, colleagues, clients, and other professionals
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and develop others as part of career progression
• High standards of numeracy and literacy
