Building Physics Consultant - Energy Modelling (TAS)
Location: Luton
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days remote)
We're working with a respected building services consultancy that is continuing to grow its sustainability and building physics offering. They are now looking to appoint a Building Physics Consultant to support the delivery of energy modelling and performance-led design across a broad portfolio of projects.
This role offers the chance to be involved in schemes spanning healthcare, education, residential, and commercial sectors, with a strong emphasis on sustainable, low-energy design.

- Deliver dynamic thermal and energy modelling using TAS
- Support compliance with UK Building Regulations (Part L)
- Contribute to building performance analysis and design optimisation
- Work alongside design teams to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort
- Assist with BREEAM assessments, particularly around thermal comfort
- Produce clear, concise technical reports and modelling outputs
- Engage in project discussions, offering insight into building performance
- 2+ years' experience in building physics or energy modelling
- Strong working knowledge of TAS (or similar tools)
- Understanding of Part L and UK compliance requirements
- Familiarity with BREEAM (especially thermal comfort criteria)
- A relevant degree (e.g. Building Services, Environmental Engineering)
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach
