This is a *Remote* role with an excellent immediate start within a Public Sector organisation working on *Planning budgets, resources, and timelines.

Our public sector client is transforming building safety across England - ensuring residents are safe and feel safe in their homes.

We are seeking a Building Surveyor (Class 3(G), 2(C) or 2(F), working under a Class 3(H) to join a high-impact Building Control "Innovation" team. You will play a key role in supporting Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs), ensuring regulatory decisions are technically robust, proportionate, and evidence based.

This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to clearly communicate complex building control matters.

What you'll Be Doing

  • Support Higher Risk Building (HRB) new build plans assessment
  • Provide specialist advice and peer review on building control applications
  • Interpret and apply the Building Regulations 2010
  • Work closely with Regulatory Leads and case teams on complex submissions
  • Contribute to MDT meetings, validation discussions, and regulatory panels
  • Identify technical or procedural issues and advise on appropriate actions

What We're Looking For

  • Registered Building Control Professional (Class 3(G), 2(C), or 2(F) (operating under 3(H)
  • Strong experience in building control, including complex/high-risk projects
  • Ability to interpret technical and regulatory information pragmatically
  • Excellent communication skills - able to present technical detail clearly and concisely
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and influencing decisions
