Your Role

As a Brand & Innovation Strategist at THEKER, you will play a hybrid role at the intersection of visual storytelling, digital design, and European innovation projects.

On one hand, you will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content, from video editing to presentation materials and for helping shape how THEKER communicates its brand, technology and products across formats and audiences.

On the other hand, you will take the lead in the early phases of European-funded projects, helping define the scope, documentation and strategic direction of initiatives that lay the groundwork for future robotics and AI innovation.

This is a position for someone highly creative, autonomous, fast-learning, and excited by both design and impact. You don't need to be a technical expert in robotics, but you do need to be very curious, organized and hungry to learn from one of the most advanced engineering startups in Europe.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and edit high-quality video content including filming with professional camera equipment.
• Design marketing assets and support materials collaborating with the commercial and engineering teams to produce presentations, product one-pagers, infographics and other visual content.
• Create and maintain web content, landing pages and visual updates for our site.
• Support strategic communication for fundraising, pilots and launches across sectors.
• Lead the initial setup of European R&D projects (e.g. Horizon Europe, EIC, Digital Europe), including documentation, early coordination with partners, and planning of technical milestones.

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong experience with design and video tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, After Effects, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to film and produce video content with professional camera equipment.
• Ability to create compelling marketing materials such as decks, PDFs and web visuals.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to learn the basics of European project coordination (training will be provided).
• Hard-working attitude and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Innovative, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for robotics.
• Willingness to reside in Barcelona or relocate to this city or its surroundings.

Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Previous experience in European projects (e.g. as communication lead, dissemination partner, WP coordinator, etc.).
• Familiarity with robotics, AI, or industrial tech.
