Bottle Operative

A Bottle Operative is required in Winchester, working full-time on an ongoing temporary assignment with potential for longer term roles, paying £12.71 per hour.

Bottling Operative Location: Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm / 6:00pm - 6:00am
Contract: Ongoing Temporary Assignment with Potential Long Term Opportunities

The working pattern follows a rotating shift schedule of 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am. This role focuses on ensuring products are packaged efficiently while meeting all specified targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring bottling and packaging equipment
• Loading materials onto production lines
• Carrying out quality inspections on bottles, labels and finished products
• Packing products and preparing them for dispatch
• Identifying and removing defective products
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the production area
• Supporting line changeovers and production activities
• Following all health & safety and food safety procedures
• Reporting machinery faults, quality concerns or safety issues promptly

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG environments is desirable
• Experience working with machinery would be advantageous but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Commitment to working safely at all times
