We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team as a Book Department Manager working at our Worcester St Swithins Shop. You will manage the efficient running of our book department with responsibility for supervising and training volunteers, managing stock levels, sorting and pricing donations, merchandising and till operations.
You will assist in achieving set income targets and maximising sales, where you can make a real difference in contributing to the income generation for St Richard's Hospice and raise the funds needed to provide care to patients and loved one across Worcestershire.
The Hospice currently has 18 stores throughout Worcestershire, which achieved a turnover of £3.5m last year through the sale of good quality clothes, bric-a-brac, books and furniture donated by local people

About youYou will have some previous experience of working in a retail bookshop or other retail experience, with a love of books and a wide knowledge of book genres. Previous experience within the charity retail sector would be an advantage.
You will be committed to providing excellent customer service and have some experience and knowledge of retail trade. This is a standout opportunity to further develop your retail skill set and experience, our retail roles are full of variety and every day is different.
