What's Included in the Package?
  • Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 basic per annum (DOE) + strong bonus structure. (Note: Holding a valid MOT Tester licence is highly advantageous and will attract a higher starting salary!)
  • Working Schedule: Monday to Friday hours (with Saturdays on a rolling rota)

Core Duties
  • Execute heavy mechanical work including engine rebuilds, gearbox swaps, clutch replacements, and timing belt/chain renewals
  • Utilize advanced manufacturer diagnostic equipment to trace complex electrical, mechanical, and software faults
  • Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and warranty repairs to strict brand standards
  • Perform thorough multi-point vehicle health checks (VHC) and document findings accurately on digital job cards
  • Collaborate with the parts department and service advisors to ensure a seamless repair process for the customer
Candidate Profile
  • Technical Ability: Strong capability in in-depth mechanical repairs and confident diagnostic problem-solving
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or solid time-served dealership/garage experience)
  • MOT Status: An active MOT Tester licence is a great bonus (and increases your salary potential), but is not essential to apply
  • Mindset: An organized, quality-driven professional who takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe working bay
  • Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence
