9B Careers is working with an established 60-person architecture practice in central London to recruit an experienced BIM Technician for a six-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Revit professional to join a busy and collaborative practice, working on commercial projects through RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
The RoleThe successful BIM Technician will play an important role in the production and coordination of detailed project information, working closely with architects and the wider technical team.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing and developing detailed architectural information using Revit.
- Working across RIBA Stages 4 and 5, from technical design through to construction.
- Developing detailed construction and technical drawing packages.
- Coordinating architectural information with the wider project team and consultants.
- Supporting the delivery of projects through construction.
- Identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues.
- Working closely with project architects and other consultants to ensure information is accurate and delivered to programme.
We're looking for a BIM Technician with approximately 5-10 years' experience and a strong track record of delivering architectural projects through the technical and construction stages.
You'll ideally have:
- Excellent Revit skills.
- Strong experience working across RIBA Stages 4 and 5.
- A solid understanding of UK construction processes and technical detailing.
- Experience producing detailed architectural information and construction packages.
- Strong coordination skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Previous experience within a UK architecture practice.
- 6-month contract
- Central London location, close to Oxford Circus
