Brief Call : Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study : Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description

At Amaris Consulting , we're driving digital transformation in engineering and construction across Europe. As part of the global Mantu Group , we partner with leading firms to deliver cutting-edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) solutions for complex infrastructure and building projects.

We're looking for a skilled BIM/Revit Engineer with expertise in electrical and/or mechanical systems to join our growing team in the region of Rotterdam . If you're passionate about precision modeling, collaborative design, and sustainable engineering - this is your opportunity to make an impact.

You'll play a key role in shaping multidisciplinary projects using advanced BIM workflows, working alongside architects, engineers, and contractors to bring intelligent buildings to life.

️ Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage high-quality 3D BIM models in Revit for electrical (power, lighting) and mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) systems.
• Ensure full clash-free coordination across disciplines through regular model reviews using tools like Navisworks.
• Generate accurate construction documentation - plans, sections, schedules, and details - directly from the BIM model.
• Apply technical knowledge of MEP systems to deliver efficient, code-compliant designs aligned with Dutch (NEN, NPR) and European standards.
• Support the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP), including modeling standards, naming conventions, and data management.
• Create and optimize Revit families, templates, and project-specific content to boost productivity and consistency.
• Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends - adopt new tools, workflows, and sustainability practices in BIM.
• Collaborate with clients and contractors during design and construction, supporting digital delivery formats like IFC and COBie.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with BIM modeling in Autodesk Revit (MEP focus).
• Strong understanding of MEP system design and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• A proactive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills and an eye for detail.
