Pre-requisites:
Technically supervising BIM technicians
Managing packages of BIM work with minimal supervision
Experience working in multi-disciplinary projects
Technical Competencies:
Experience working on land development projects
Capable of producing/reviewing Revit models independently in coordination with Architecture/MEP
Experience developing GA's, sections, and detail drawings independently
Experience working in BIM 360
Experience in Navisworks
Job Knowledge:
Create templates for Revit and Civil 3D for landscape projects
Set up files (Revit, Civil3D, AutoCAD, Rhino, Navisworks) for design, 3D coordination, and sheet production
Supervise and contribute to object and family creation; maintain libraries per project/stage needs
Review, estimate, and provide input on delivery schedules and effort levels
Define workflows and procedures for digital design delivery with support from Digital Design Manager and Landscape Director
Create and maintain BIM documentation (BEP, TIDP, MIDP, LOD matrices) using Parsons' templates
Train, mentor, and troubleshoot for CAD technicians, 3D modelers, and landscape architects
Prepare landscape team for BSI BIM certification and annual audits
Responsible for 3D coordination with disciplines and external consultants
Participate in multi-disciplinary/client meetings; provide feedback on model status and coordination
Conduct quality checks, model health checks, and design review checks
Perform quantity take-off and scheduling
Desired Experience:
10+ years of advanced troubleshooting experience with CAD/BIM technologies
Experience interfacing with project management and senior engineers
Team leadership and people management skills
