Billing & Operations Director Hybrid / Leicester An exciting opportunity to come and join us as Billing & Operations Director to oversee the execution of non-domestic energy Billing to the value of c £4.5bn. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the role will ensure compliant Billing of non-domestic energy invoices, ensuring risks are mitigated through a proactive, rigorous and effective governance.This pivotal role will oversee back office functions such as Move journey, Renewals, Settlements, Continuous Improvement and workflow management. Key responsibilities Lead the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing across all customer segments Drive transformation initiatives to improve billing efficiency, back office, and customer experience Represent the Billing function at senior leadership forums, influencing commercial and operational strategy Lead Operations functions to minimize cost and maximize margin, including outsourcing partners Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Customer Operations, Collections and Technology teams to align billing with broader business goals Monitor billing performance metrics and report insights to drive strategic decisions Champion continuous improvement and lessons-learned initiatives across What we're looking for Extensive Energy sector experience Previous experience in billing Extensive knowledge of the supply licence conditions and regulatory frameworks Senior leadership experience This role is Hybrid but there will be an expectation to travel to our offices as and when required.
