Contributions:
To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Lead the bid development process (kick-off, commercial reviews, governance, ICS, cash flow analysis, bid documents, proposal progress tracking and meetings, assimilation of collaterals)
- Bid schedule management, and critical path escalation ensuring 100% compliance with bid development process.
- Work with a cross-functional team of Business Development, Technical Experts, Commercial/Risk, Legal, Marketing/Proposals, and others to coordinate the planning, development, and production of proposals.
- Establish proposal schedule, assignment matrices, compliance matrices, and production templates and ensure thorough understanding of client's RFP and documentation.
- Coordinate development of content other necessary materials from both internal staff and partner organizations as applicable.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with proposal participants to track tasks against the schedule.
- Monitor progress of the proposal process with timely follow-up to meet internal proposal deadlines.
- Identify/escalate issues that may impact the proposal's schedule or quality.
- Support efforts to monitor submissions against proposal best practices and industry standards.
- Support clarifications and post-bid submission requirements.
- Contribute with the development and maintenance of proposal content library on SharePoint.
- Contribute to proposal writing process developing tailored project fact sheets, case studies and standard materials.
- Coordinate the preparation of graphics, charts and other components required as part of the bid submissions.
- Prepare lessons learned sessions and internal debriefs for assigned proposals.
- Planning, organizing and scheduling activities necessary to comply with the Service Delivery Process, including the attendance of appropriately authorized Approvers. (In accordance with the Group Approval Matrix)
- Ensuring all necessary information and documentation is available to successfully undertake Service Delivery Process Stage Gate Reviews and Technical Governance, gaining the requisite approvals
- Planning, organizing and scheduling activities necessary to comply with the Service Delivery Process, including the attendance of appropriately authorized Approvers. (In accordance with the Group Approval Matrix)
- Ensuring all necessary information and documentation is available to successfully undertake Service Delivery Process Stage Gate Reviews and Technical Governance, gaining the requisite approvals.
- Follow established AtkinsRéalis proposal processes, guidelines, best practices and policies.
Qualifications and Experience requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Equivalent (can be relaxed in case of relevant ME Bid experience), with 7 - 10 years relevant experience including involvement in the proposal process.
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office tools (including Sharepoint and MS Visio, MS Project). Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite knowledge will be considered an asset.
- Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task. Experience working in multiple assignments, in dynamic work environment.
- Teamwork and communications abilities to work with many people at all levels to coordinate assignments and assemble necessary documents on strict client deadlines.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with ability to correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and narrative flow.
- Background in major projects and collaborative Design Build projects. an asset.
