Bid & Marketing Specialist Role Summary 
The Bid & Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the development, coordination, and submission of competitive public and private sector tender bids, while also driving strategic marketing initiatives to support business growth and brand positioning.

Our talented team of over 60 engineers, technicians and support staff combine deep technical knowledge with a collaborative, solutions-driven approach to meet the specific needs of each project and client.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end preparation and submission of public and private tender bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines
- Manage go/ no-go criteria with respect to bids
- Develop pricing strategies and bid responses, incorporating commercial, financial, and competitive analysis
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, financial, and operational input for bid submissions
- Manage and continuously improve the organisation's bid library and knowledge base
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and print channels
- Develop high-quality marketing and promotional materials aligned with brand strategy
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client requirements to inform business development strategy
- Support senior management in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Ensure consistency and quality across all client-facing documentation and communications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in bid/tender preparation and marketing execution in an engineering consultancy or comparable environment
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of pricing and competitive positioning
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
